DILLION, Melvin

Melvin "Tuck" Dillion, 85, of Resaca, died Friday, Sept. 29, 1995 at the Woodstock Care Center, Woodstock.

Born May 26, 1910 in Madison County, he was the son of Charles L. and Fannie Bell (Coberly) Dillion.

He was a truck driver for the McAdams's Shell Oil Company for 18 years. He worked for American Aggregates in Urbana for 15 years and drove a truck for Jim Moody.

Survived by his wife, Clarabelle (McAdam) Dillion; daughter and son-in-law, Sally and David Slonaker II of Orient; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Eileen Dillion of Galloway, Melvin "Bus" and Mary Ellen Dillion of Marysville; grandchildren, Keri and Kelly Dillion of Wooster, Wendi Adams of Columbus, Bruce and Cheri Dillion of Gahanna, Cheri Dillion of Columbus, Adam Koch of Orient, Kimberly Luring of Seattle, Wash., Meagan Luring of Yakima, Wash., David Slonaker III of Orient, Erin Smith of Columbus; two great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.

The family invites friends to call at the
Rader-Lynch and Dodds Funeral Home, London, Sunday, Oct. 1 from 2-6 p.m., where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 2, with the Rev. William Turner and Rev. William Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Plumwood Cemetery.
