September 30, 2002 Chester H. Ingland, age 80, of Columbus, formerly of Hilliard, Saturday, September 28, 2002 at Franklin Woods Nursing Facility. Retired from Hilliard School System, Locksmith of Hilliard. Member of Trinity Assembly of God, VFW American Legion 614 and proudly served his country in WW II. Preceded in death by first wife Edna. Survived by wife, Florence Chafins Ingland; son, Alvin (Peggy) Ingland; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; 1 step-daughter and 3 step-sons; 12 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren; brother, Dale "Zeke" Ingland; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Tidd Funeral Home with Crematory, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday. Pastor Tom Bell officiating. |
