James Dillion Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home & Crematory - London on Jan. 17, 2024.
DILLION
James "Jimmy" Dillion, age 70, passed away on January 15, 2024, in London Health and Rehabilitation.
He was born on September 1, 1953, son of Willis and Harriet (McClaskie) Dillion.
Jimmy was loved by so many and in return he loved so many. He was a ray of sunshine to those who knew him. He gave the best hugs to everyone.
He worked at MATCO for 35 years. During his years at MATCO, he received The Employee of the Year Award. He also received the Dorothy Allison Lifetime Appreciation Award for being in the original
first class of children to start school at Fairhaven. He was a member of the Green Hornets Basketball Team and the bowling league.
Jimmy enjoyed attending softball games and watching his great nieces compete. He also enjoyed listening to music and he liked to paint. One of his paintings was selected to be displayed at the 2008
Accessible Expressions Visual Arts Exhibition at the State of Ohio Senate. But, his greatest joy was just spending time with his family.
Jimmy will sadly be missed by his sisters Connie (Mike) Riegel and Donna (Gene) Vickers and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Mary Jane Conley, Delores
Lambert, Gloria Myles, and brother, Elmer Reffit.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 20, 2024, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio, with Pastor Denny Tatman officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of services Saturday.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to VIA Quest Hospice and the nursing staff at London Health and Rehabilitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Madison County Vineyard to benefit the Kindness Ministries, 106 Olive Street, London, Ohio 43140, or the Madison County Special
Olympics, 500 Elm Street, London, Ohio 43140.
Condolences for the family are encouraged to be shared online at www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com.
