I have found in researching my father's line of Pembertons in Lawrence Ohio that the Wiilis and Pemberton families have been marrying each other since the early 1800's. Most of my Pemberton/Willis
ancestors lived in Getaway Ohio (which was formerly known as Russell's Place) in Lawrence Ohio. I am currently looking for information on George Pemberton born about 1841 in Lawrence. I believe his
father was Richard Pemberton born about 1808 also in Ohio.
Thanks,
Mary Ann Pemberton McGowan
