Hello again. I'm sure I responded to you once before and you answered with you didn't think they were the same. Well, it seems as though they are. I have a book entitled "Wilson-Baird" History, compiled by: Frank C. SHEPHERD.1941 It has quiet a bit of information on the Shepherds as well as the Bairds and Wilsons. Brothers marrying sisters. It is quite informative. Mentions Nancy born about 1788 and died 1876 in Lawrence, Douglas Cnty, Kansas, United States. I didn't get the book out to get all of the information, but I'm sure they are the same. Would be willing to copy pages with reference to John SHEPHERD, his brother that married a Baird also (I think his name was Nelson) I think there might even be a picture of her in it.

In an old family record made by Miss Nancy Anne SHEPHERD, a neice, her name is given as Nancy Elizabeth. They had 9 children. Martha Ann, Dr. Harvey B., Sarah Amanda, John Milton Albert, Mary Isabella, James Worcester, and William Amiza (died at about Age 16) It goes on to say 1856/57 they went through Illinois to visit Baird's and SHEPHERD's and on to Kansas where they are buried about 6 mile south of Lawrence, Kansas, United States. Will this make it a more sure thing? one way or another.
