"William DILLON (Jr.) left Cumberland (County) about 1762-1763 and in various land transactions he named none of his children. He mentioned 100 acres bought of James DILLON and if he had been his son, the author believes he would have mentioned it. The land in question was willed to James DILLON by his grandfather William DILLON (Sr.) in 1744."
