A few other researchers and myself believe that the parents of Mary Polly Rinehart were George Rinehart and Hannah Sibert Rinehart.
Early census records show that George had several females in his household; those females' ages would be consistent with the marriage record of Polly and Samuel DILLION in 1818, and a few other marriage records during that period. We believe he also had daughters Betty, Jane, and Matilda in addition to his sons Hugh T.and John. (The sons were mentioned by name in George's will, and John is believed to be a son by his second wife, Patsey Nuckles.)
