The original Bashaw in Fluvania County was Spencer Bashaw (son of Peter Bashaw,I of Westmoreland Co., VA) who died before 1782 in Fluvania County.. Cynthia Bashaw who married Samuel Sadler 1837 was perhaps one of his grand-daughters or g-grand-dau. But I do not know which one of the Bashaws was her father. There was also a Holeman Bashaw living there in 1815 when he married Polly Snead....a possible father for Cynthia.
I published a Bashaw book several years ago(out of print), but I did not work this line out to any extent, and there are several holes in the descendants of Spencer Bashaw. I know nothing about the Sadler line.
