Seeking information regarding Edward HALE. My current info shows that prior to the American Revolution, Edward's father (unknown) and family
drifted to Franklin County, Virginia, United States (probably from PA). Edward, born about 1750, served in the American army and in 1779 came across the Alleghanies into the New River Valley. Edward acquired 150 acres on Wolf Creek in 1782. He married Martha "Patsy" Perdue, daughter of William Uriah PERDUE in Montgomery County, Virginia, United States 26 Sep 1786 and settled on Wolf Creek. The Montgomery County, Virginia, United States mariage records indicate that Edward was "of Lunenburg, County, Virginia, United States". Montgomery County records have, also, several references to a Thomas HALE, which is probably Edward's brother.

Would appreciate any info regarding Edward HALE and William Uriah PERDUE, their families, parents and ancestors. Thanks.
