(Left to Right) Abigail (SHEPHERD) HUBBARD, Josephine (SHEPHERD) SHERWOOD, and Sarah Jane (SHEPHERD) BALL (Photo Circa 1915) Plain City Advocate, Plain City, Ohio September 2, 1953 LOCAL WOMAN IS DEAD AT AGE 72 Mrs. Josephine Sherwood, 72, died at her home in Plain City Thursday, August 27th, after an illness of several months. She had submitted to an operation on July 3 and had been in declining health until her death. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Blanche Dillion; son-in-law, Pearl Dillion; one sister; two brothers, and four grandchildren. Services were held at the Ferguson Funeral Home at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. Interment was in Forest Grove Cemetery. Headstone
