Frank C. Dillion, 87, formerly of 85 Arthur Bradley Road, Plumwood, died August 18 in Hampton Court Nursing Home, West Jefferson.

He was born in Lafayette, Madison County, August 28, 1895, a son of Charles and Fannie Coberly Dillion.

He was a retired employee of Monroe Township and attended Plumwood United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Dillion, May 11, 1979; and by sons, Jimmie and Billie; a sister, Mabel Wibright; and brothers, Harry, Johnny, Noland and Elmer.

Survivors are daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Geraldine) Streator, Miss Phyllis Dillion, Mrs. Marvin (Marjorie) Binkley, all of Plumwood, and Mrs. Gerald (Joy) Cole of Marysville; two sons, Jack Dillion of Columbus, and David Dillion, Payson, Arizona; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Melvin Dillion of Resaca.

Funeral services were held August 20 at the Rader Funeral Home, London, with Reverend Rick Wagner officiating.

Burial was in the Plumwood Cemetery.
