Forrest R. Dillion, 75, of 10 Collins Avenue, South Charleston, dies May 17 in Community Hospital, Springfield, following three years failing health.

He was born in Bloomingburg, Ohio, August 1, 1910, a son of Wilbur and Rose Dillion. He was a South Charleston resident for the past 38 years. He was a retired machinist for Speco Division of the Kelsey Hayes Company for 23 years, retiring in 1962. He was a member of the Victory Chapel Church, South Charleston, and a member of the 20 year club of the Speco Division of Kelsey Hayse.

Survivors include his wife, Olive Lash Dillion, whom he married August 29, 1929; three sons, Robert of South Charleston, Larry of Mansfield, David of Peru, Indiana; two daughters, Shirley Donahoe of Springfield and Vaunie Hisey of South Solon; a sister, Mary Mathys of Belefontaine; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Jones.

Funeral services were held May 20 in the Ingling-Williams Funeral Home, South Charleston with the Reverend Cecil McCarty officiating.

Burial followed in Greenlawn Cemetery.
