He was born in Madison, Ohio, and was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Earline; daughters, Darlene Moon and Marla Johnson; son, Monte Welch; four sisters; one brother; and seven grandchildren.

No services are planned.

David E. Dillion, 69, of Payson, Arizona, died Tuesday, December 14, 1993 in Phoenix, Arizona.

He was born in Madison County, March 12, 1924, son of Frank and Helen (Lucas) Dillion.

He was the owner and operator of his own Tool and Die Machinist Co., and was a veteran in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Erelene; son, Charles; daughter, Darlene of California; step-children, mother-in-law and grandchildren, all of Phoenix; brother, Jack Dillion of Columbus; sisters, Geraldine Streator, Marjorie (Marvin) Binkley, Phyllis Dillion, all of Plumwood, Joy (Gerald) Cole of Marysville; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Ronald.

Memorial service will be held in the Plumwood United Methodist Church at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 1994 with the Reverend Ron Cook officiating.
