Individual Data Unknown Newspaper May 19, 1977 Elmer Dillion, 71, of Route 2, London, died Thursday morning in Madison County Hospital, London. He was a retired employee of the Madison County Highway Department. Dillion was born October 19, 1905 to Charles Leyton and Fannie Coberly Dillion. He was a World War II veteran and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Club and a member of American Legion Post 105, London. He was preceded in death by sister, Mrs. Mabel Wibright; and two brothers, Harry and Glenn Dillion. He is survived by wife, Harrietta Estep Dillion; three brothers, Frank Dillion of Plumwood, Melvin Dillion of Resaca, and Robert Nolan Dillion of Cleveland; nieces and nephews; and special friends, Don and Carol Carter and sons. The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday and 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the Rader Funeral Home. Services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Rader Chapel, with Reverend David Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Plumwood Cemetery. |
