The Madison Press, London, Ohio February 21, 1986 Olive M. Dillon, 74, of 10 Collins Avenue, South Charleston, died unexpectedly at 2:55 p.m. Thursday, at Community Hospital, Springfield. She was born in Marysville, May 1, 1911, daughter of Bert and Lottie Gardner Lash. She had been a South Charleston area resident for over 40 years and had worked as a cook for the Southeastern High School for seven years. She was a member of the Victory Chapel Church and the South Charleston Senior Citizens. She is survived by three sons, Robert and Larry of South Charleston and David of Peru, Indiana; two daughters, Shirley Donohoe of Springfield and Vaunie Hisey of South Charleston; two sisters, Ruth Roof of Dayton and Ethel Mummey of Marysville; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest R. Dillon, May 17, 1985; three brothers and three sisters. Friends may call at the Ingling-Williams Funeral Home, South Charleston, Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home, Reverend Cecil McCarty officiating. Interment will be Greenlawn Cemetery. |
