Kenneth Carl Dillon, 89, of Sycamore Road, Colcord, died Thursday, February 12, 1998, at his home following a long illness.

Born February 18, 1908, at Colcord, he was the son of the late Wright and Rebecca Clay Dillon.

Mr. Dillon was a member of the Sycamore Free Pentecostal Church of God. He was a retired miner and a member of the UMWA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorena; three sons, Archie Lee, Harold and Roger; a daughter, Corena Butler; and two grandchildren.

Survivors include five daughters, Erma Wiley of Dorothy, Brycie Stiegel of Colcord, Yvonne Walker of Spring Lake, North Carolina, Lue Etta Shenefield of Langsville, Ohio, and Linda Sue Wright of Ashville, Ohio; two sons, Kenneth Dillon of New Lexington, Ohio, and Junior A. Perry of Campbell's Creek; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the church. Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the Sycamore Free Pentecostal Church of God, Colcord, with the Reverends Cecil McClellan and John Buchanan officiating.

Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas.
