Kenneth Carl Dillon, 89, of Sycamore Road, Colcord, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, at his home following a long illness.
Born Feb. 18, 1908, at Colcord, he was the son of the late Wright and Rebecca Clay Dillon.
Mr. Dillon was a member of the Sycamore Free Pentecostal Church of God. He was a retired miner and a member of the UMWA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorena; three sons, Archie Lee, Harold and Roger; a daughter, Corena Butler; and two grandchildren. Survivors include five daughters, Erma Wiley of Dorothy, Brycie Stiegel of Colcord, Yvonne Walker of Spring Lake, N.C., Lue Etta Shenefield of Langsville, Ohio, United States, and Linda Sue Wright of Ashville, Ohio, United States; two sons, Kenneth Dillon of New Lexington, Ohio, United States, and Junior A. Perry of Campbell's Creek; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 P.M. Sunday at the Sycamore Free Pentecostal Church of God, Colcord, with the Revs. Cecil McClellan and John Buchanan officiating.
Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas.
