Unknown Newspaper October 1952 Edgar Deardorff Dies Monday, October 6, 1952. Edgar W. Deardorff, 71, life-long Madison County resident and farmer, of the Lafayette-Plain City Road, northeast of London, died Monday morning after a lingering illness. Surviving are his wife, Flora; a son, Robert at home; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Wibright of Chicago and Mrs. Eileen Crawford of Columbus; a brother, Dallas Deardorff of West Jefferson; a sister, Mrs. Alice Holm of Vallejo, California; and four grandchildren. Funeral services at Saints Simon and Jude Church, West Jefferson, Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock, the Reverend Father Raymond S. Danehy, officiating. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Columbus. The Holy Name Society recited the Rosary at the Rader Funeral Home in West Jefferson, Tuesday evening at eight o'clock. |
