Individual Data Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, Jacksonville, Florida January 8, 2012 Helen Massey-DeWall passed away January 6th, 2012 at the McGraw Hospice Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Helen was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 30, 1920. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Williams; son-in-law, Roger Williams; and grandson, Steve Williams. She was blessed with three great-grandchildren, Parker Williams, Grant Williams and Avery Williams. Helen had many friends and a loving family. In 1963 Helen and her husband George Massey moved to Jacksonville and started Quality Sign Company. After George's death in 1973 she continued to operate the company and a few years later sold the company to her daughter. The company has been a part of the Jacksonville business community since that time. Helen was also very active in the art community during her life especially the Beaches Art Guild. She became president of that guild and served for many years in several positions including board positions over the years. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A viewing will be held at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. in Jacksonville, Florida from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, January 8th, 2012 with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 9th, 2012 at the funeral home.
