Marysville Journal-Tribune, Marysville, Ohio August 4, 2006 Anthony Craig Barker, 49, of East Liberty, died Thursday, August 3, 2006. He was born May 8, 1957, in Jamestown, Ohio, the youngest of three children born to Herald and Martha Donohoe Barker. He graduated from Triad High School in 1975 and was an avid Ohio State University fan. He was a talented musician and devoted much of his life to the music business. He was preceded in death by his father. His mother survives in East Liberty. He also is survived by his wife of 18 years, Amy Aitchison Barker; a brother, Herald W. Barker of St. Paris; a sister, Luana Slemmons of Bellefontaine; his father- and mother-in-law, Bill and Sue Aitchison; brothers- and sisters-in-law, T.J. (David) Adams, Mike (Tuwana) Aitchison, Rick (Marikay) Aitchison, and Kathy (Jim) Hostetler; several nieces and nephews; and his two best friends, his dogs Leo and Louie. Mr. Barker was an organ donor. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Freshwater, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home, North Lewisburg, Ohio, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Dale George officiating. After the services, the family is inviting everyone to Seth Slemmons' residence, 8189 Route 287, West Liberty, for a time of fellowship. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, North Lewisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
