Helen T. Dillion, 92, formerly of 195 Mercury Court, died Friday, April 4, 1997, at 11:58 a.m. at the Delphos Memorial Nursing Home.

She was born May 2, 1905, in New Bremen, daughter of Emil C. and Minnie E. (Fritz) Brandt.

On March 17, 1925, she was married to Fred Dillion in Columbus. He died June 14, 1969.

She is survived by two sons, James A. of Findlay, and Don F. of Indianapolis, Indiana; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Esther K. Brandt of Delphos.

A brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Mrs. Dillion became a victim of polio in 1930 and spent several years at the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis in Warm Springs, Georgia. Because of this illness, she was forced to use braces and crutches and was in a wheelchair throughout her life. She was a homemaker and member of Grace Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at the German Protestant Cemetery, Ohio 66 and Lock Two Road, New Bremen. The Reverend James A. Alter will officiate. Friends may call at the Cromes Funeral Home Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church or the Easter Seals Foundation.
