Individual Data Kenton Times, Kenton, Ohio October 19, 1989 George Kennedy died at 2:15 a.m. today, Oct. 19, 1989 at his residence. He was born in Marseilles April 1, 1909, to Harley and Mary (Essex) Kennedy. He married Margaret Dillion June 27, 1936, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Gerald of Venice, Fla., and Mervin of Upper Sandusky; two daughters, Mrs. John (Janet Sue) Churlik of Okeechobee, Fla., and Mrs. David (Carol) Smith of Upper Sandusky; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Gilbert, Glenn, Keith, Francis and Neville; and three sisters, Thelma, Wilda and Doris. He retired in 1981 after 27 years as custodian for Marseilles School and atteded Marseilles United Methodist Church. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Upper Sandusky Chapel of Lucas Funeral Homes, by the Reverend James Riggs, with burial in Fehl Cemetery, Marseilles. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County. |
