Individual Data The Register Herald, Beckley, West Virginia April 25, 1999 Sylvia Lee Dillion Jarrell, 84, of Naoma, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 23, 1999, following a short illness. Born February 16, 1915, at Sandlick, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Nanny Rorrer Dillion. Mrs. Jarrell was a homemaker and a 58-year member and treasurer for 32 years of Naoma United Methodist Church. She was also a charter member of the Eastern Star at Whitesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Jarrell; an infant grandson; and two brothers, Vesper and Dewey Dillion. Survivors include five sons, Roger Hamilton and his wife, Maxine, Raymond Jarrell Jr. and his wife, Kim, and Raymond Jarrell Sr., all of Naoma, Lloyd Jarrell and his wife, Mary, of Rock Creek and Donald Jarrell and his wife, Bernice, of Surveyor; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and a best friend, Melba Meadows of Naoma. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Naoma United Methodist Church with the Reverend Hank Wriston officiating. Burial will follow in Adkins Cemetery, Naoma.
