Funeral Card October 24, 1947 DILLON, EMORY GUY, passed away suddenly at his home at Whitesville, West Virginia, Wednesday, Noon, October 22, 1947. He was engaged in the transfer business and had served Whitesville and surrounding communities for the past twenty-one years. He was born in Ohio, June 25, 1891, a son of the late Will and Mintie Clay Dillon. He married Victoria Acord in 1911 and they have resided in Whitesville for the past twenty-six Years. Surviving besides his wife are; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Thomas, and Mrs. Blanche Edmonds; and two sons, Denvil and Arthur, all of whom reside in Whitesville; one brother, Charlie Dillon of Naoma; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Stewart of Naoma and Mrs. Lura Farmer of Kegley, Virginia, and five grandchildren. Emory Guy Dillon Funeral Services were held Friday afternoon October the twenty-fourth Nineteen hundred and forty-seven at two o'clock in the First Baptist Church at Whitesville, West Virginia CLERGYMAN The Reverend O.
