Charles Clyde Dillon, 62, of Colcord, died Sunday, February 14, 1999, in a Charleston hospital following a long illness.

Born July 15, 1936, at Colcord, he was the son of the late Clyde and Dottie Marie Pettry Dillon.

Mr. Dillon was a member of the Sycamore Free Pentecostal Church of God, Colcord, was a retired employee of the Kaiser Aluminum Company of Dalton, Illinois, and a 13-year member of the UMWA.

He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Clyde; a daughter, Dottie Mae; two sisters, Emma Petry, and Opal Honaker; and a brother, George.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene F. Allen Dillon; a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Loretta) Jarrell of Ameagle; five sisters, Mrs. Coolidge (Bernice) Stover of Gap Mills, Mrs. Jewell (Flora) Alexander, Mrs. Mace (Judy) Holsten, both of Colcord, Faye Jarrell of Beckley, and Mickie Dillon of Concord, North Carolina; two grandsons, Justin and Billy Jarrell.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Estep Cemetery, Ameagle, with the Reverends Vernon Sears, Cecil McClellan, and Gary Maynor officiating. There will be no visitation.

Burial will follow in Estep Cemetery, Ameagle.
