The Saginaw News, Saginaw, Michigan September 19, 2000 Mrs. Dorothy H. Riddick passed away Monday, September 18, 2000 at Tendercare, Saginaw. Age 87 years. Dorothy H. Dustin was born January 8, 1913 in Bay City, the daughter of the late Frank and Hazel (Pelo) Dustin. Her mother Hazel predeceased her when Dorothy was an infant. Her father married Magdalena Schroeder in 1915 who raised her. She was graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1930 and was a charter member of the National Honor Society. She attended Bay City Junior college, Dorothy had worked for Stobbart Studio and later worked with an agency providing housing for returning World War II GI's. She married F. Ray Riddick September 29, 1945, he predeceased her in 1988. She was a devoted wife and mother. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law: Robert (Terry) and Ann Aitchison, Durham, N.C.; William (Bill) and Susie Aitchinson, Plain City, Ohio; and David and Michelle Riddick, Saginaw; one daughter, Eve Perry, Saginaw; 10 grandchildren, including Ann Perry; seven great-grandchildren; several cousins.
