Doris A. Baker, age 82, of Marengo, traveled home to the Father April 2, 2008.

She was born February 7, 1926, in Plain City, to the late Pearl and Blanche Dillion.

She was married for 61 years to John Baker, her loving husband who preceded her in death. Together they spent their lives farming and caring for animials. Doris was a faithful member of the Columbus Baptist Temple where she attended for 58 years, serving as a Sunday school teacher and singing in the choir.

She was also preceded in death by brother, Ralph Dillion; infant sister, Carol June Dillion; brother-in-law, Bill Aitchison; and her much loved nephew, Eddie Tuller.

Left to mourn her passing include one son, Robert (Sandra) Baker; granddaughter, Crystal Fontana; great-grandson, Cardeno Fontana; brother, Tom (Mary) Dillion; sister, Sue Aitchison; niece, Lillian Tuller; and many other nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews whom she loved very much.

The family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 and 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main Street, (State Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, with Pastor Paul Gabriel officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Union County Loving Care Hospice, 113 S. Main Street, Marysville, Ohio 43040 or Columbus Baptist Temple.

Interment Dublin Cemetery.
