Ruth C. Wibright, 78 of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 07, 2015.

She was born April 15, 1936 in Woodstock, Ohio the daughter of Robert H. and Mary G. (Wilson) Cushman. She was a 1954 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. She married Charles (Chuck) Wibright Sr. on April 10, 1954. They spent many years traveling before returning to their hometown, where she was co-owner of Mechanicsburg Concrete, Sand and Gravel. She was an active member of her community and faithful member of Church of Our Saviour. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed many years involved with 4-H.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles "Chuck" Wibright; daughter, Betsy Jane (Matthew) Kovacic of Ravenna; son, Charles "Chip" (Jeanette) Wibright Jr. of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Charles R. Wibright III, Catherine Alice (Cassi) Wibright, Ellen Marie Kovacic, David M. Kovacic and Benjamin Kovacic; sisters, Gertrude Leach of London, Lynne Davisson of Cable, Betsy Keys of Marysville and Rita Anderson of Mechanicsburg; brother, James (Peggy) Cushman of Mechanicsburg; sister-in-law, Jane Baker of Sidney; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jeanne Snyder; and brothers, John and Mark Cushman.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Skillman, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg.

Funeral service to Celebrate Ruthie's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in The Church of Our Saviour, Mechanicsburg with Reverend Timothy West, Reverend Rick McCracken Bennett and Reverend Charlotte Collins Reed as celebrants.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 56 Main Street, Mechanicsburg, Ohio 43044.
