Individual Data Springfield News-Sun, Springfield, Ohio April 12-15, 2009 BOWSHIER, Carol Sue 75, of Springfield, passed away at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 in her residence. She was born December 29, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Paul W. and Verna Mae (Travis) Lanning Sr. Carol had been employed at Elderly United with their Meals on Wheels program. Survivors include step-children; Karen Miller, Wilmington, Randy Bowshier, Larry Konicki, and Donald Bowshier all of Springfield; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; close friends, Louise Chesser, Regina Shaw, Sharon Gallamore, Paul Jones and Bev Blakely; and her best friend and loyal companion, her dog; "Jack". She was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus D. Bowshier Jr.; step daughter, Cleta; step-son, Terry; three brothers, Richard, Kenneth and Paul Lanning Jr.; and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Jones-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Berner officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. |
