Mrs. Dora Grant Dies In Columbus - Funeral Sunday

Mrs. Dora Grant, 56, of North Lewisburg died Thursday at 5:30 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Laverne Wiley in Columbus where she had been ill for the past three months. She was a native of West Virginia, but had lived in the vicinity of North Lewisburg for the last 29 years. She was a member of the North Lewisburg and Mt. Moriah Methodist Episcopal Churches.

She is survived by her husband, Omer Grant; seven daughters, Mrs. Laverne Wiley of Columbus, Mrs. Beatrice Callahan, Mrs. Elizabeth Poth, and Mrs. Mabel Lloyd, all of New York City, Mrs. Mildred Durnell of Mansfield, Mrs. Darlene Wiley of North Lewisburg, and Mrs. Mary Bryant of Lockport, New York; and two sons, Joe and Junior at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Liza Dillion and Mrs. Martha Peterman of Lafayette, also survive.

The body was brought to the Freeman Funeral Home in North Lewisburg and funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the Methodist Church in North Lewisburg with the pastor Reverend M. J. Plotts officiating.

Interment will be made in Maple Grove Cemetery by Freeman.

HOLD SERVICES FOR MRS. GRANT

Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Grant, 56, of North Lewisburg, who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Laverene Wiley in Columbus. Sunday afternoon at two o'clock in the Methodist Church at North Lewisburg, where she had lived for 29 years, conducted by the Reverend M.J. Plotts.

Interment in Maple Grove cemetery, North Lewisburg by M. J. Freeman, mortician of that place.

She is survived by her husband, Omar Grant; seven daughters, Mrs. Wiley of Columbus; Mrs. Beatrice Callahan, Mrs. Elizabeth Poth, and Mrs. Mabel Lloyd of New York City; Mrs. Mildred DurneII of Mansfield; Mrs. Darlene Wiley of North Lewisburg, and Mrs. Mary Bryant of Lockport, New York; and two sons, Joe and Junior at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Liza Dillion and Mrs. Martha Peterman of Lafayette, also survive.
