Betty (Dillion) Boughn, 96, of London, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning, April 9, 2013, in her home.

She was born on June 5, 1916, in Madison County, a daughter of Joseph and Rose (Tarpening) Dillion. Betty was formerly a Cook at Madison Rural and Madison South Schools, was formerly employed in the Receiving Center at the Madison County Children's Home, and was a member of the Plumwood Church of Christ in Christian Union.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Jim Bowen of London, Ann and Bob Moore of Florida; son, Russell Boughn of North Carolina; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvie Boughn whom she married on October 19, 1935; two sisters; and five brothers.

The family invites friends to call at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High Street, London, Ohio, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, where a celebration of Betty's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Pastor Dennis McFarland will be officiating.

Interment will follow in Deercreek Township Cemetery.
