Dayton Daily News, Dayton, Ohio May 11, 2005 TUMBLISON, Bernard E. age 74, of Tavares, Florida, formerly of Miamisburg, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at Sycamore Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Tumblison; his parents, Verner and Lois (Hinner) Tumblison; and by a brother, William. Survived by 3 daughters, Brenda (Scott) Campbell of Miamisburg, Sandra (Fred) Pena of Hawaii, Linda (Robert) Davis of Miamisburg; a brother, David (Marsha) Tumblison; a sister, Virginia Danzeisen both of Miamisburg; 7 grandchildren, Shayna, Troy, Jake, Jeffrey, David, Luke and Stacey. Bernard was a former Dayton Policeman and Montgomery County Deputy Coroner. He was a member of American Legion and the F.O.E. in Florida and was an Army Veteran of WWII. Inurnment services will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Chaplain Wendell Rome officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, 134 A-2 Northwoods Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio 43235 in Bernard's memory.
