Price March 24, 1931 - July 21, 2012 Price, Barbara E., age 81, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at her residence. Barbara was born on March 24, 1931 in Pickaway County, Ohio, the daughter of Freddie and Ollie (Stevens) Prindle, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sara Lee Delp and Thelma Wilkins and a brother, Claude Prindle. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Earl E. Price, who she married on her 18th birthday on March 24,1949; her daughter and son-in-law, Melva and Rick Pirtle of Hilliard, Ohio; three grandchildren, Mandy and husband, Tim McDaniel of Witchita, Kansas, Jennifer Pirtle of Powell, Ohio, Rich and wife, Brandy Pirtle of Hilliard, Ohio; and a great grandson, Ryan Alston McDaniel of Kansas. She is also survived by her very special friend, Dean Hayes, of Beavercreek, Ohio. Barbara was a member of Beaver Valley Chapter #570, Order of the Eastern Star , Charity Court #55, Order of the Amaranth and had been active with the Charity Grange in Beavercreek for many years. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Beaver Valley Chapter #570 will conduct an Eastern Star Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mt. Vernon, Ohio in memory of Barbara.
