Mary "Sue" (Dillion) Aitchison, age 83, of Plain City, became one with the Lord on the afternoon of May 13, 2021 at Brookdale Muirfield in Dublin as her loving family surrounded her.

Sue was born June 21, 1937 in Plain City, Ohio to the late Pearl and Blanche (Wibright) Dillion. She retired from Union County Memorial Hospital in Marysville as an LPN in the Intensive Care Unit after 30 years in 1995. Since then, she was an accomplished quilter, enjoyed crochet, flower gardening and Bible study. Sue was a member of Cypress Wesleyan Church and attended the Alton Darby Campus. Her greatest joy was her family.

In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Bill, brothers Ralph and Tom, sisters Doris and Carol June, and a son-in-law, Tony Barker.

Those she loved and left behind include daughter, TJ (David) Adams of Plain City, two sons, Michael (Tuwana) Aitchison of Plain City, Rick Aitchison of Versailles, Kentucky; and twin daughters, Amy Barker of East Liberty, and Kathy (Jim) Hostetler of Plain City. Grandchildren, Kacey (Matt) Waltz, Ashley (Dan) Stanley, Nathaniel (Nikki) Aitchison, Abigail (Luke) Rogers, Jarrad (Chelsey) Aitchison, Rachel (Aaron) Schlabach, Rebecca Aitchison, and Michaela Hostetler. Great-grandchildren, Raymond, Allysa, Zachary, Makhia, Olivia, Lucas, Roman, Annabelle, Robert, Addison, Phoenix, and Spencer. Sue also cherished her pet dog, Tillie; and her cats, Charlie and Lucy.

Special thank you to Capital City Hospice and nurses Alex, Donna, Deniece, Kris, and Evelyn.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Grove Cemetery in Plain City. Pastor Dale George will officiate.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
