James A. Dillion, 91, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021.

He was born February 21, 1930 in Columbus to Frederick and Helen (Brandt) Dillion. Jim spent his childhood years growing up in Altoona, Pennsylvania, New Bremen and Sidney, Ohio where he graduated from Sidney High School in 1948. Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He married Wanda L. (Voris) Dillion of Lima, Ohio in October 1951 and they divorced in 1974. Jim worked at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company for 35 years, where he retired as Vice President of Private Brands in 1998.

Jim is survived by his three loving sons and their families, Scott and Amy (Michel) Dillion of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Greg and Cindy (Shimon) Dillion of Corona Del Mar, California, and Mark and Pam (Biando) Dillion of Findlay, Ohio. His sons gave Jim nine grandchildren, Chris, Megan, Bridget, Blake, Ross, Colton, Jason, Jordan, and Andrew; plus five great-grandchildren, Brooke, Caitlyn, Shane, Dax, and Jack.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his older brother, Don.

Jim was married to Donni (Teer) Dillion of Arlington, Texas, from 1974 to 1988. He is also survived by Donni and her two children from her first marriage, Kimberly and Scott Teer, who Jim helped raise and mentor.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
