Schoedinger Norris Grove City, Grove City, Ohio July 12, 2023 Marikay Aitchison, age 64, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Mason and Joann Catherine (Burns) Seitz; brother, James Seitz. She is survived by her daughters, Rachel (Aaron) Schlabach, Rebecca Aitchison; grandchildren, Phoenix Garcia Aitchison, Spencer Mullen, Annabelle Schlabach, Christina Schlabach, Robert Schlabach, Addison Schlabach, Kenlyn Schlabach; sister-in-law, Mari Seitz; along with nieces, aunts, and many dear friends. Marikay worked for Dr. Scott R. Sanders, DDS, Primrose School, Brookdale at Pinnacle and also Pet Cremation Services. She was raised in Grove City and a lifelong Catholic and proud member of Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Grove City. She enjoyed reading horror novels, collecting windchimes, and animals especially elephants. Marikay enjoyed going to Virginia Beach and relaxing to the sounds of the ocean. She enjoyed spending time with her large circle of friends, but most of all she LOVED being a Grandma (Nana or Nannie to her grandkids)! A visitation will be held for Marikay on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road (Hoover Road and Kingston Avenue). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for her on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3730 Broadway with Father Michael Watson, Celebrant. Interment will be at Grove City Cemetery West. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital. |
