Clarence E. "Eddie" Tuller, Sr., age 77, of Ostrander, formerly of Powell, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 27, 2007, at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Born in Liberty Township, Delaware County, to the late Ernest and Della Tuller, he graduated from Powell High School, Class of 1951. Eddie was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired in 1985 after 37 years with the Columbus Zoo where he was the Curator of Mammals. A life-time member of the NRA, he was a member of VFW Reed Miller Post #3297, the former Dublin American Legion Post and also a member of the Columbus Baptist Temple.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ray Tuller, and now resides in Heaven with his sons, Kent and Kenneth Tuller.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lillian; and children, Ed Tuller, Jr. of Marysville, Beth (Steve) Cunningham of Columbus, Jean (Paul) Gabriel of Columbus and Ann (Tom) Griffith of Ostrander; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Effie) Tuller of Powell and Ernest (Linda) Tuller of Dublin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, 450 West Olentangy Street, Powell, Ohio 43065, (614) 792-1471, where funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2007. Pastor Paul Gabriel officiating. (The funeral home is located on W. Olentangy Street / Powell Road / SR 750, 1/4 mile east of Sawmill Parkway.)

Burial will follow at Dublin Cemetery.

If they choose, friends may make memorial contributions to the Columbus Baptist Temple, 5075 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43231, in Eddie's memory.
