Lillian E. Tuller, age 86, of Marysville, formerly of Powell, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at her home in Marysville.

Born in Cecilia, Hardin County, Kentucky to the late Leonard and Frances Klinglesmith. She graduated from HoweValley High School in Cecilia, Kentucky, as part of the Class of 1952. Lillian worked at the Columbus Zoo, where she worked in the office during the day, and in the zoo nursery at nights. One of the highlights of her life was taking care of Colo, the first gorilla ever born in captivity. Colo continued to recognize her face and voice sixty years later. She also worked at Worthington Foods, from where she eventually retired. A life-time member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, she served as a page in Washington. She was also a long-time member of the Columbus Baptist Temple / CrossRoads Baptist Church. Lillian's greatest achievement was being a loving and godly wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Edward "Eddie" Tuller, Sr.; sisters, Loretta and Elma Jean; brother, Horace Lee; and she now resides in heaven with her sons, Kent and Kenneth Tuller.

Lillian is survived by her sisters, Lyda Barnes and Faye Thompson; brother, Marshall Klinglesmith; children, Ed Tuller, Jr. of Marysville, Lillian "Beth" Cunningham of Marysville, Jean (Paul) Gabriel of Columbus and Ann (Tom) Griffith of Ostrander; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Arrangements are provided by Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, 450 West Olentangy Street, Powell, Ohio 43065, (614) 792-1471, where a private funeral service for family will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021, Pastor Paul Gabriel officiating. (The funeral home is located on W. Olentangy Street / Powell Road / SR 750, 1/4 mile east of Sawmill Parkway.)

Lillian E. Tuller Obituary
