Marysville Journal-Tribune, Marysville, Ohio January 7, 1972 Roy C. Adams Dies Today At Age 53 Roy C. Adams, 53, Milford Center, Rt. 1, a farmer died at 7:20 a.m. Friday at his home after an illness of one month. Born August 8, 1918 in Irad, Kentucky, he was the son of Charles and Lorna (Carter) Adams. He was married August 15, 1948 in Mechanicsburg to Alice Chamberlain who survives. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Milford Center and a World War II veteran. Other survivors are five sons, Michael of Milford Center, Charles, David, Kevin and Roy at home; a daughter, Marilyn at home; one granddaughter; three sisters, Mrs. William Brill, of Milford Center, Mrs. Virginia Phelps of Milford Center, Mrs. Lucille Hammond of Bloomingburg and a brother, John of Woodstock. Funeral services are at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Postle-Hale Funeral Home with the Reverend James Christie officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:00 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Milford Center Cemetery.
