Photo from his obituaries Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, Lancaster, Ohio Saturday, February 20, 2016 Charles Randle Pirtle, (Charlie, Chuck, Ran), age 86 of Lancaster, formerly of Sun City Center, Florida passed away peacefully Friday, February 19,2016 at Brookdale Senior Living with family by his side. After retiring from General Motors at age 50, Dad enjoyed his days boating on Lake Erie, building model planes and spending time with his family and his beloved wife. He and his wife Jean were married in 1950 and had four wonderful children. Dad is now joyfully reunited with his wife of 64 years. Survived by his sons: Charles Randle Pirtle Jr. (Dee Tallon), Richard Raymond Pirtle (Melva); daughter, Laurie Lee Pirtle (Mindy Shonk); grandchildren: Robert Shawn Pirtle, Sonuia Redawn Pirtle, Amanda Elaine McDaniel (Tim), Jennifer Raye Lemaster (Jeremy), Richard Raymond Pirtle Jr.; great-Grandchildren: Ryan, Alexis, Elizabeth, Jackson, Cici, and Gracie. Preceded in death by his wife: Gloria Jeannine Pirtle; parents: Jim and Ernie Pirtle; brother, Alston Pirtle; step-brother, Don Franke (Wanda); son, Robert Alston Pirtle.
