The Lima News, Lima, Ohio Saturday, May 12, 1990 Richard Lee Shinn, 60, of here, died at 12:01 a.m. Friday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Mr. Shinn was born November 17, 1929, in Celina, the son of Clyde and Elsie Fetters Shinn. On April 25, 1953, he married Doris Elaine Walters, who survives. Mr. Shinn was a stationary steam engineer for the City of Celina. He was a member of Montezuma Church of Christ and had served in the U.S. Army. Survivors also included three sons, Michael W Shinn of Mendon, Robert L. Shinn of St. Marys and David R. Shinn of Celina; seven grandchildren; one brother, James E. Shinn of Celina; and two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Betty) Parker of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Mrs. Gerald (Jo Ann) Beougher of Celina. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Dick and Sons Funeral Home, Celina, Reverend Steve Howell officiating. Friends may call 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swamp College Cemetery, Celina. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Obituary
