The Lima News, Lima, Ohio Wednesday, March 24, 1993 Jeanette M. Tamhascia, 65, died at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her brother in Sidney. She was born April 13, 1927 in Sidney to Adolf H. and Frances Didier Thoma Sr. She married Victor Tambascia, who died in 1983. Mrs. Tambascia was a secretary for Auglaize Industries in New Bremen. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen, where she had been the recording secretary of the parish council for many years. Survivors include three sons, Jeffrey Michael Dillion of San Luis Obispo, California, James Franklin Dillion of Columbus and John Anthony Tambascia of Los Angeles; a daughter, Teresa Szostak of Houston, Texas; four brothers, William Thoma of Dayton, Adolf Thoma Jr. and Richard Thoma, both of Sidney, and Donald Thoma of Bloomington, Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Manning and Mrs. Robert (Charlotte) Cloyd, both of Sidney; and two granddaughters. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen. Reverend James F. Trick will officiate. Burial will be in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Friends may call 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Gilberg Funeral Home, New Bremen, and 9:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church. She was born April 13, 1927, in Sidney, the daughter of Adolf H. and Frances (Didier) Thoma Sr. Her husband, Victor Tambascia, died in 1983. Survivors include three sons, Jeffrey Michael of San Luis Obispo, California, James Franklin of Columbus, and John Anthony of Los Angeles, California; one daughter, Teresa Szostak of Houston, Texas, and two granddaughters. Burial will follow at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Friends may call Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gilberg Funeral Home in New Bremen and Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
