Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, Newark, Ohio Monday, April 19, 2004 A funeral service for Dorothy L. Weese, 77 of Newark will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2004 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Weese died Sunday April 18, 2004 at Mt. Carmel East Medical Center. She was born March 22, 1927 in Saltlick, Kentucky to the late Fred and Goldie (Mullins) McCarty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Lee Weese who died in 1997 and two brothers, Fred (Bud) McCarty and Thomas McCarty. She was co-owner of W.L. Weese Trucking and B&H Cartage from 1959 to 1991. She enjoyed her family and playing Bingo. Survivors include two daughters, Joan (Michael) Bonner of Newark and Donna (William) Burke of Newark; five sons, John (Sheila) Church of Newark, James (Rhonda) Weese of Hebron, Ronald (Rocki) Weese of Newark, Raymond "Squeeze" Weese of the home, and Richard (Debbie) Fabian of Heath; three sisters, Goldie Yvonne (Ronald) Clark of Newark, Faye (Richard) Williams of Zanesville and Helen Kimbler of London, Ohio; twenty-one grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 West Main Street.
